JuryMatters will not disclose any information we receive from:
- the firms who hire JuryMatters,
- the firms’ clients, or
- the Jurors who register to review JuryMatters cases.
Attorneys: Our JuryMatters staff and associated consultants will hold in confidence any information provided by or through your firm, your clients, or other involved parties, whether during your initial discussions with us or during our performance of any contracted work.
All work performed, materials produced and communications made by JuryMatters, related to any aspect of the cases for which we are hired, are Attorney Work Product of the hiring firm and are, therefore, privileged. As part of our conflicts check when you contact us, we will provide you a separate confidentiality/non-disclosure agreement to cover initial discussions.
Jurors: JuryMatters will never share any personal information you provide us with anyone. By registering as a JuryMatters Juror, you agree to neither discuss nor share the facts of JuryMatters cases with anyone other than JuryMatters. Whenever possible, fictitious names will be used for the people and businesses involved in the cases we send to you for review. In the event that an attorney, who has hired JuryMatters, deems it necessary to use the actual name of a person or business in a case sent to JuryMatters Jurors, you agree not to share any information about the case with anyone outside of JuryMatters. By registering as a JuryMatters Juror, you also acknowledge that your failure to maintain absolute confidentiality about the facts of a JuryMatters case you receive for review could cause a mistrial if the case goes to court.
